The first time I went to get Burmese food, it just may have butterfly-effected my life…at least in terms of rice. San Francisco’s Burma Club, along with one of its’ counterparts, Burma Superstar has the best rice I have ever eaten. It’s enough to not so subtly remind me it exists every time I have rice in day to day life and wish I was eating theirs. Sigh. Anywho…this trend setting establishment located steps away from the San Francisco Mint Building is a shiny one. Multi level, with a glowing set of orb-like chandeliers, purple crushed velvet and crafty bartenders. What more do you need at a Thursday night event in SF? (And yes, I did manage to take some rice home. Cha-ching!)
