Give yourself permission to embrace your magic.

I'm going to be fully honest. Boudoir photography can feel intimidating. I've been on both sides of the camera and completely understand the challenge of embracing yourself in a way you may have never done or thought you would before! I bet even being on this website may be causing just a little bit of anxiety. But, regardless of the fears, it's so incredibly worth it. Boudoir has the ability to elevate you into a whole other level of confidence you didn't know you could possess. I'm proud of you for being here and taking a step in this direction of self-love and acceptance.

This form of photography is just one way you can give yourself another perspective in the ways you can embrace and love yourself. I love helping others see the magic they didn't know they had within them. I would be honored to help facilitate you on this part of your journey of self actualization and self acceptance.

Even if you're not ready yet, thank you for being here, and feel free to peruse my fun lil' spicy corner of the internet and get inspired through the stories of those just like you.

⊹₊⟡⋆My Philosophy

Boudoir is freedom.

In a few ways, boudoir can give you this magical sense of freedom I don’t generally see or experience as easily in other forms of photography and self expression. There’s another flavor of creativity and play that walks in and commands this zero judgement space that I’m ridiculously passionate about.

It's a place to let go of everything you hold onto in your day-to-day life. From your insecurities, to all of the things you hold yourself back from. It's a space where you can release the expectations of the outside world that others and yourself put onto you.

There are few experiences as exhilarating as stepping into your power in this kind of way - one where you can catapult yourself closer to the most expanded, self actualized and well loved version of yourself. I’ve found boudoir to be one of those spaces with just a little bravery and trust.

The story of a photographer uncovering her power and helping others do the same

I think it's so important to do things that scare you - there isn't a value you can put on confidence, because with it, the world absolutely opens up to so many possibilities. More and more throughout the years, I've given myself more permission to be myself…which is far louder and bigger than I was comfortable with while growing up! Every time I do so, magic happens.

So I want to help you do that, too.

I am originally from itty bitty Hilton, NY, moved to The Bay Area in Northern California when I was 19, then after covid and some massive realizations, I moved back to Rochester, NY in February of 2021. I gave myself the space and time to be more creative and confront my demons through the support system of my longest connections with my family and friends.

Speaking of doing things that scare you, the way I moved back to Rochester is something else - I wasn't necessarily afraid of what I was planning to do but was more so afraid of what people would think of my decision. (There's that theme of thinking "I'm too much"!) I decided to drive from California to Rochester all by myself. I loved every. single. minute. It was exactly what I wanted to do. I decided to do something big for myself that went against what others would have preferred I do, and once I started, I magically suddenly didn't care what others thought. It’s a weird experience to have so much fear, then suddenly have none. I know it’s not always like that, but damn is it fun when that happens!

I learned so much through having all the autonomy to make every little decision according to exactly what I wanted throughout my trip. I didn't make a plan, I didn't have an exact route, I took my time, drove past towns I found boring, stayed longer in the places that fascinated me (White Sands National Park bewitched me body and soul) and I found the purest happiness and freedom through it. (Sleeping in my car amongst all of my worldly possessions in my cute little Honda CRV equaled the best sleep I've gotten in years by the way! Maybe becuse no wifi signals were passing through my head, idk lol.)

Where does boudoir come in? Well, it is one of those things that can be scary, especially when you think about what others may think of you (or if you truly don't care then hell yeah!!!). It can be the equivalent of jumping off of a bridge, or traveling by yourself…But on the other side is so much confidence, freedom, and fun throughout the exhilarating process. You'll see yourself in a completely new light, and a part of you will be set free. It's magic if you let it.

What will you do after you realize how awesome you really are?
