Hey it’s me, Mary!
Currently based in Western NY (Rochester to be specific)
…but I’ll go anywhere they’ll let me!
I’ll match your energy - from a relaxed in home family session…to scaling trees just to get the shot,
(as carefully as one can with that #Vexpensive gear chillin’ on my neck)
and sometimes asking for forgiveness, not permission,
(when appropriate of course…always down for a calculated risk to get the shot)
I’ll do pretty much anything and everything to proudly get the shot that symbolizes best what you and your favorite humans are all about - and we’ll probably have a blast while we’re at it.
It is worth it beyond words to me to capture a moment that perfectly encapsulates what makes you, your family or friends, so indescribably significant, unique, and meaningful to this world.

Real talk - are you worried about being comfortable enough in front of the camera? That problem can happen when your photographer could be potentially difficult to connect with.
I have seen photographers who half-heartedly photograph their clients - from second shooting and assisting for them, to internally cringing at a wedding I’m attending…it breaks my heart. When a photographer doesn’t care, you may get uncomfortable and it can absolutely show in the result.
In order to tell your remarkable story, and before you essentially “swipe right” on me, I want to get to know the remarkable you! The biggest part of my philosophy is to understand what you’re all about. I take my time in understanding your story, your vibe, what your values are, and help you get used to being in front of the camera if you are a little nervous about being photographed.
I include not only a consultation, but a hang out sesh for my wedding clients so we can chill, have no pressure and just get to know each other! We can go mini golfing, the arcade, grab some drinks, go to Six Flags, or a sip and paint class!
